3 Minute Thread: Adrian Gordon
"My best life hack is to take yourself on a date. Whether it's once a week or once a month, find some time to take yourself out and treat yourself."
If there was such thing as an accessories final boss, Adrian Gordon would be it. His hands are stacked with the most incredible array of rings, and he’s always wearing an amazing pair of glasses. Adrian is someone I look forward to seeing because I know his outfit will inspire me to push the boundaries of my personal style. I hope you feel the same!
Who are you?
My name is Adrian Gordon, I'm from New York. I'm the Gallery director at Jacques Marie Mage.
What are you wearing?
Today I'm wearing, my favourite shorts from Bottega Veneta, shirt from JW Anderson X Uniqlo, tie from Salvatore Ferragamo, shoes are from Paraboot, and glasses from Jacques Marie Mage.
Why did you choose this outfit?
I chose this outfit because summer is here, perfect time for some loose comfortable shorts and a cropped shirt.
Where did you wear it/ where are you planning to wear it?
I wore this for to work then after work drinks with some friends.
What’s the best style lesson you’ve learned over the years?
Don't think too hard about it, it doesn't matter what other people think; don't be afraid to experiment.
One person you think has great style?
Coleman Domingo - he's not afraid to take risks. I love how he blends classic tailoring with more avant-garde looks. He looks like he owns every room he walks into.
One life hack?
My best life hack is to take yourself on a date. Whether it's once a week or once a month, find some time to take yourself out and treat yourself. It will do wonders for your mental health.
Favourite person to follow?
I don't have one person I like to follow, but a lot of my friends have great style I love to see how they express themselves. For example, Kate Markman, Adam Wright, Chynna Richardson, Niyi-Juwon Osiyemi, Joel and Goya Gumbani.
One recommendation to read/ watch/ listen/ see or do?
If you're into Anime, ‘Frieren: Beyond Journey's End’. It's beautifully animated well written and has a lot of depth.
