When I send the brief for 3 Minute Threads, I never know exactly what I’ll get. That’s the fun of it - I get the same surprise as you do when you open them. When I received Mel’s Thread, I was delighted to find that she’d submitted not one but seven outfits! Including the one she wore to get married recently.
Mel is a Filipino-Australian stylist and photographer living in NYC. I first met her in Paris in 2014, at a casting for a Valentino show - she was helping me do up a dress, I was clutching my portfolio, hoping to walk the show (I didn’t). We’ve both come a long way since then! Her style is cool and calm, just like her. I hope you enjoy this tour through her wardrobe.
